Hi my name is Brian. I have amassed a very large vinyl LP collection over a number of years, and over the last couple of years I have been selling selected items mainly via ebay.
I have never been a dealer, but during my years of collecting I have gained a fair knowledge. I will always use good quality photographs backed up with researched information. But I admit I do not know it all, so if you think there is a mistake in an item I have listed, I would be happy to be corrected so that I can update my listings.
Please bid with confidence as I believe my information is both honest and accurate. If for some reason you are not happy...just return the item in the same condition as you received it and you will get a full refund.
UK postage and packaging is £4 and includes the best quality packaging and insurance up to £35. Over £35 please email for the price. (double albums £5). If you are an international bidder please ask for a postage quote as I will only ship internationally if the item is securely packaged and FULLY insured. For all items I use cruciform mailers, card stiffeners and bubble wrap. I also place the vinyl outside of the sleeves to prevent knifing/seem splits.
FOR AUCTION IS--BLACK SABBATH--SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH-- ORIGINAL 1st WWA PRESSING
CATALOGUE NUMBER.... wwa 005
MATRIX NUMBERS........ Side 1, WWA 005 * 1Y//2 v 420 0 11 8
Side 2, WWA 005 2Y*1 11 31
Above are the earliest matrix and stampers I have ever seen or heard of. Side 2 doesn't even have the '420' UK code and both sides have 11 stampers??!!
SLEEVE..............GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This sleeve is in perfect condition. There is actually no wear and no damage. It has always been stored out of sunlight and in a plastic outer sleeve. See the pictures. Graded MINT.
INNER SLEEVE....Perfect condition, as the day it left the shop. See the pictures. Graded MINT.
LABELS...............These are the very first printed labels for this album. They are printed with white AND SILVER on a black background, and only the very first labels where like this. Later printings used ONLY WHITE on black and even later pressings also included 2 catalogue numbers printed above the spindle hole(ACB 00166 and WWA 005 1/2). The later pressings also had a ridge around the outer edge. I have included a picture of a later pressing to illustrate this ridge(the last one). These labels are totally unmarked. Graded MINT/MINT.
VINYL...............Both sides of this brilliant album still retain there deep black just pressed shine. There are no scratches or scuffs. There are very few very light hair lines caused by contact with the rough paper inner sleeve. I have owned this copy for perhaps 10 years and in that time I have only played it a handful of times on my high end LINN SONDEK and have stored the vinyl outside of both sleeves in an anti-statick NAGAOKA bag which is the way it will arrive to you. On playback the sound is loud and full with wonderful stereo separation and full soundstage, a top quality recording. There is some very quiet and minor dust crackles that can be heard in the very quiet parts of the music but a professional clean could sort that out. There are no pops, clicks or jumps. A real cracker! Graded EXCELLENT PLUS.
A VERY NICE COPY OF A TRUELY GREAT AND DESIRABLE ALBUM
GETTING HARDER TO FIND TRUE 1ST PRESSINGS IN ANYTHING LIKE THIS MINTY CONDITION
GOOD LUCK BIDDING, BRIAN.
