VERY RARE ORIGINAL 1ST UK PRESS - 1Y1/2Y1 MATRIX WITH PORKY/PECKO ETCHED MATRICES AND HOWARDS PRINTERS UNLAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE
PLAYGRADED: not simply glanced at with a superficial visual grading, fully played and graded throughout (listened to on headphones - the most revealing playgrade method, with no exterior audio distractions)
OUTER GATEFOLD SLEEVE:
Original unlaminated sleeve, "Printed and Made by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd."
Good condition, some rubbing to the black on front and back but not terrible! Not totally damaged or worn away like the vast majority out there! Some minor touch ups to the spine and bottom edges are just visible, but very sympathetically done and actually complements the sleeve - looks quite good overall, not the mintest but not the worst either!
INNER GATEFOLD SLEEVE:
Not bad at all, just some rubbing to the black again.
SPINE
Not too bad, still nice and square, unlike most that are virtually flattened! Quite legible, does have some wear to the centre of the spine.
TOP AND BOTTOM EDGES
Excellent, not worn through to white like nearly all of them, a few minor areas sypmathetically touched in, looks very nice.
OPENING EDGES
Well used, some thumbing or feathering, but not terrible!
VINYL:

Good looking vinyl with just a few visible superficial light scratches. Plays MUCH BETTER THAN IT LOOKS! Audio tone is stunning with amazing clarity on all frequencies. Absolutely no distortion from groove wear. The loud sections are excellent, full of power and superb tone. The light scratches do make quite light background crackle on run ins and in between tracks, but not in the loud music thankfully. Only noticeable on quiet tracks like 'Changes', 'Laguna Sunrise' and even then it's not too intrusive.
Plays through very nicely all the way through without any jumps or sticks at all!
LABELS:
The classic Vertigo Swirl labels, with correct 1st press requirements:
Overall swirl on 'A Side' with 'SIDE A' in third white band from the top.
B side label with the correct smaller swirl above the spindle hole and the word VERTIGO below.
Several light spindle traces, but no graffiti or obvious wear and tear. Nice.
INNER SLEEVE:
Just a plain white one.
POSTAGE AND PACKING:
I recycle as much existing material as possible and reuse record mailers if they are of good enough quality. Edges and corners are reinforced with packing tape. Stiffeners are used to strengthen and support the record.
Vinyl is removed from the outer gatefold to prevent any 'knifing' to the outer sleeve.
I ship in the UK using Royal Mail 1st Class. A certificate of postage is obtained for every item. Signed for delivery is available on request at extra cost. Please ask.
