Description

THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR THE SECOND LP BY BLACK SABBATH ENTITLED PARANOID RELEASED BY VERTIGO RECORDS IN THE UK IN 1970 CATALOGUE NUMBER 6360 011. THIS COPY IS A FIRST PRESS WITH THE MATRIX NUMBERS OF 6360011 1Y//1 ON SIDE 1 AND 6360011 2Y//1 ON SIDE 2.

THE VINYL IS VISUALLY IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION AND LOOKS REALLY NICE. THE LP SITS NICE AND FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE AND WAS OVERALL A PLEASURE TO LISTEN TOO. THERE IS SOME LIGHT BACKGROUND NOISE, TWO LIGHT SKIPS DURING "HAND OF DOOM" AND A COUPLE OF LIGHT TICKS AT THE START OF "WAR PIGS" BUT THIS DID NOT DETRACT FROM MY LISTENING EXPERIENCE. I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS BEING VERY GOOD+.

THE LABELS ARE IN EXCELLENT+ CONDITION AND LOOK REALLY GREAT.

THE GATEFOLD SLEEVE IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. IT IS FREE FROM ANY WRITING OR TEARS. THERE IS SOME STORAGE WEAR TO THE EDGES AND SPINE AND A SMALL MARK TO THE TOP RIGHT CORNER WHERE A STICKER HAS BEEN REMOVED.

THE LP COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER BAG BUT WILL BE SENT IN A NEW INNER SPERATE FROM THE SLEEVE.

OVERALL A NICE COPY OF THIS RARE LP

PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR OTHER CLASSIC ROCK LPS

I use the Record Collector guide to grade my records-see below

The Lp will be sent in professional mailers and will be sent in the Uk at a cost of  £3.00. The cost of postage in Europe is £8.00 which includes international signed for delivery as mandatory . Anyone bidding who does not have feedback will have their bid cancelled straight away. I am very sorry about this but again this is due to problems experienced in the past. Anyone without feedback and who wants to bid please contact me first.

Grading:- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced
