I have for auction this stunning copy of this legendary album taken from my own collection.The laminated sleeve is superb.Apart from 3 very minor creases on the rear of the sleeve and 1 tiny crease on the front it looks almost new.As can be seen from the pictures the laminate still has its original shine.The spine is undamaged and there are no splits or tears at all.The inside of the sleave is totally blemish free and looks factory fresh.You will really struggle to find a copy with a better sleeve than this one. To protect my 100% feedback i am going to grade this sleeve as EX++,but i feel most people would grade it as nr mint.The original inner sleeve is in super condition,still flat and crisp with no damage at all.Age yellowing is only very slight and confined to the very edge,by far the best of my swirl albums.Now on to the vinyl,which is in truly exceptional condition.Visually it looks new,with all its original shine and lustre and is completely warp free.I have just played it through for the first time in about 25 years and the audio is 100%.Sound quality is stunning,a bench mark for all the idiots recording in digital to try and achieve.Throw away those reissues and crappy CD's and listen to the album in the way it was intended,in glorious ANALOGUE!. I was amazed at how well this record played, surface noise is virtually none existent.Even on the the quiet acoustic track "Planet Caraven" there is almost a complete absence of any kind of surface noise.Visually the only way you would know it had been played is the prescence of a couple of spindle marks on the label.To see these marks you need to examine it under strong angled light,they are almost imperceptible!.The vinyl itself is totally free of any marks or blemishes and looks brand new.Because of the very faint spindle marks i will play safe and grade the vinyl as mint-.The audio i will grade as mint although i dislike the use of this word when describing something audible.All i need to say really is the system i use consists of £18,000 worth of Linn Naim equipment,the deck alone would set you back £7,000.If it sounds this good on my system you have no worries.As always i will always give a full refund if not completely satisfied with my description,you can bid with total confidence.
