UK 1st VERTIGO SPACESHIP Pressing LP  - SPIRAL LAMINATED SLEEVE

VERY RARE TO FIND THIS ON 'SPACESHIP' FEW WERE PRESSED BEFORE SWITCHING TO THE NEMS LABEL.

THIS IS IN IMMACULATE LIKE NEW CONDITION! TWO PLAY VINYL, AND THE BEST SLEEVE YOU WILL EVER SEE

An outstanding 'MINT MUSEUM' COPY of this very collectable classic LP. THE SLEEVE AND VINYL ARE  LIKE NEW.

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE 'ONE PLAY' CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st SPACESHIP pressing  which was only issued very briefy after the 'spiral' copies..the transition period saw the band switch to NEMS/WWA soon after the Spaceship label was introduced by Vertigo for their releases ..Rumour has it there are FAR fewer spaceship copies than spirals and therefore surely rarer?

Also, this condition is quite something else..As near to MINT as we have ever seen..this is a remarkable set you are looking at.

It has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

There are a couple of light whisp lines and nothing else visible at all on this vinyl!  Quite astonishing- Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years. Some light dust flecs on the vinyl as we slid it from the original spiral inner..

One little spindle skate around the centre hole again suggests this LP has maybe had one possibly two plays only, it shows no signs of any wear at all.  It looks quite incredible..

On listening through there was barely the tiniest of lead in static, and thats about it..a couple of little dust pops that will probably not sound next time round- a stunning listen

 Not much to add here, other than this 'archived' LP is simply MINT MINUS, and you will never see better for these amazing rare Spaceship pressings....

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

THE SLEEVE     MINT-

Correct LAMINATED SPIRAL LOGO  Gatefold first issued earliest sleeve with no printer credits and lamination tabbed over into the gatefold -- this is straight out the box from 1971 - SUPER WIDE SPINE VERSION

 This is in simply incredible condition, you will not see better than this we feel!

the whole sleeve is simply time capsule condition..

The edges are all super clean with just the tips having the tiniest rub, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition- The laminate finish is immaculate and where as many copies have powdery wear, dulling and scuff, this sleeve remains in absolute museum condition.

Gleaming like glass ...

No powdery white ringwear or even ring press of any note, and all edges are super crisp.

Just a couple of tiny little spider lines and one tiny feint thumb crease on the back hardly worth mentioning!

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with no hint of handling

The open out of the gatefold is simply perfect, no dulling, white rub or wear at all. THE MATT INK SURFACES ARE SIMPLY 100% NEW!

The spine edge is IMMACULATE
