THE VERY NATURE OF THIS ITEM MEANS YOU WILL NEVER FIND ONE IN MINT CONDITION. THE CARD BOX SLEEVE IS PRONE TO SPLITS AND BEING SQUASHED WHEREAS THIS ONE IS EXCELLENT +. THE VINYL IS IN EX ++ CONDITION AND VERTIGO SWIRL INNER IS ALSO EX. THE POSTER IS THE ORIGINAL UK ISSUE AND GRADES GOOD/GOOD MINUS. OVERALL A LOVELY RARE ITEM!!!

Original UK 1st Pressing - 1971 Stereo.
Matrix numbers: 6360050 1 Y / 6360050 2 Y.
Contains the swirl liner which is in excellent condition.
This is a superb example of this classic album with excellent audio (play-grades Excellent, or better).
The embossed box-cover, the disk and the inner sleeve are all the original 1st press UK Vertigo.
The record has the following 1st press matrix numbers:

Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks superb and has retained its original high sheen. Under bright light there are some wispy sleeve-removal lines, but there is nothing significant anywhere. I have played the entire record and it sounds fantastic! In fact the audio sounds superb (with some parts grading Near Mint) so I would play-grade the album overall as a SAFE Excellent (Ex+). This is a superb example and it was a real pleasure to listen to.
Labels: Just spindle marking and signs of use around the centre holes. Nothing significant, no writing or tears
Box Cover: The original embossed box-cover has no damage, writing, splits or stickers etc and no major issues. A fantastic example! There are creases near the edges and spines (mainly on the rear) and some slight laminate lift, but there is NO flaking or peeling of the lamination. It has retained its original high sheen and looks great!! There is some slight feathering of the corners of the flaps (see photo)
Poster: The poster is in good condition only (possibly good minus). It has been displayed and is a bit fragile. But it is the original first issue poster. It has sellotape marks on the back (see picture) It is made from heavy, matt paper and measures approximately 18" by 23" (inches) and weighs 30 grams. It is a genuine item!
Inner sleeve: Original poly-lined Vertigo inner sleeve states 'made in England' and has normal signs of age and use, with some discoloration and creasing. There some minor tears around around the centre holes, but no major issues.
