After Ronnie James Dio departed Black Sabbath (the first time), the band brought in former (at that time) Deep Purple lead singer Ian Gillian. The year was 1983, and heavy metal was loud and proud. The album is really good, it's just the production that's a bit muddy. OK, it's kind of bad! Lol This past July had Tony Iommi stating that he was seriously considering a remixed and remastered reissue soon. And rumor has it that the band wasn't happy with the demon baby cover. Again, that's kind of bad, too! It's seems that not a lot of thought was put into the cover's artwork.
The band's albums have been made into picture discs, and they never hang around long here on Ebay. They go quick, and for big buck$, when you CAN find them! Up for grabs today is a copy of that great 80s heavy metal release, with powerhouse rock singer Ian Gillian on lead vocals! It's got that demon baby cover, and is a 120 gram vinyl record. A sweet Sabbath collectible to have!
But you just KNOW I'm not done yet, right? Lol I'll also add to this crazy good deal a copy of that 80s metal classic on remastered CD! They didn't really remix it, which it could have used, but they cleaned it up as best as possible by remastering it. The disc looks great, and there's only a few very, very light surface marks that I can see. Hardly noticable, and they don't affect play in any way. The case and artwork are looking fine, as well. The vinyl is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! In its original plastic PVC jacket, with hype sticker. This is the Earmark Italian import. And the only flaw I can see is a fold on the bottom of the jacket (see pic).
