BLACK CAT BONES

“BARBED WIRE SANDWICH”

DECCA – SDN 15 – UK – 1970

RARE ORIGINAL UK FIRST STEREO PRESS.

COVER: VG+ (crinkling in front laminate, scuffing on spine thats caused a 1 inch or so seam split half way, but you can still read title and band and back cover the white has colour ageing)

RECORD: VG+ (not so bad but: side 1 with some scratches that plays with some clicks here and there; side 2: one scratch on track 2 sounds by clicking, in the same place, continuously for each lap)

INNER SLEEVE: EX (original blue/white stereo inner sleeve)

MY GRADING:

SS : Still sealed. Cover and record sealed in the original shrink. NEW.

M-: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheets, inserts, booklets, posters etc are in perfect condition. Records advertised as “Unplayed” should be M.

EX : The record shows some hairlines of being played however there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have very light wear and/or creasing.

VG++ : The record has obviously been played some times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable little surface marks/hairlines and the occasional clicks. Normal wear on the cover or extra items without any major defects.

VG+ : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and some visible scratches. The cover and its contents suffer from folding, creasing, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.

VG : The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, scratches but without skips or jumps. The cover and its contents will be badly damaged.
