BILLY LEE RILEY - SUN 78 RPM RECORD #260 - FLYING SAUCER ROCK N' ROLL/I WANT YOU BABY

This is a tremendous Rock-A-Billy record from the legendary Sun Record Company located at 706 Union in Memphis, Tennessee. Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Bille Lee Riley, Charlie Feathers, B.B. KIng, Howling Wolf, Charlie Rich, Rufus Thomas, James Cotton and Barbara Pittman are just a few of the legendary artists that walked in the door to make history!

This classic from Billy Lee Riley came out in 1957 when things were jumpin' in that studio. I wish Riley had thrown in another verse on Flying Saucer...love it!

Labels- Nearly Perfect on the I Want You Baby side. On Flying Saucer side the label has a manufacturing error at the top where it looks like the label is torn. That's the way it was made.  Beautiful color. The brown is a little light but that's how many of these are....the label colors vary slightly.  No writing, stickers or other distractions.

Playing Surface: VG/VG+ in 45 terms. Solid. Some light scratches and marks. Music is clear...way above surface noise. Great Rocker!

This is a nice copy.
