Description

BILL EVANS TRIO EXPLORATIONS ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING STEREO DEEP GROOVE LP ON RIVERSIDE

This original STEREOPHONIC pressing is Riverside Records  RLP 9351. It is the first USA pressing stereo Microgroove LP issued in 1961 when stereo was in it's infancy. Very few early stereo Jazz LP's were pressed and very few survive today.

Bill Evans, piano
Scott La Faro, bass
Paul Motian, drums

The vinyl is in VG+ condition with some scuffs / wear that does not effect play. There are some typical slight pops and clicks and the record plays through nicely with no skips.

The sleeve is in VG+ condition with a partial top seam split and some corner / shelf wear.  There is also a crease on the right of the front cover which may be seen in the image.  The black and silver Riverside Stereophonic labels are in very nice condition.

This is the original deep groove STEREOPHONIC Record!

This fine original vinyl LP record would make a great addition to any Jazz collection.  This is a rare opportunity to purchase the classic Explorations in a first pressing stereo version.

This is not a bootleg or reissue, it is guaranteed authentic and original.
