hi there,
this is the original 1st south-african pressing of "THE BIG BEAT OF THE BEATLES" in 1964, mono.
the record was never released in the U.K. or the U.S. so it is seriously hard to find,
especially in this condition! (have a look on the pictures)
it is the old style PARLOPHONE LABEL, ORIGINAL POLYTHENE INNER SLEEVE, and ORIGINAL FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!
it was pressed in only a few amounts so it is a highly collectable one!
1964, mono pressing, PMCJ 64, South Africa, 1st pressing, Matrix XPEAX 167 and XPEAX 168
VINYL: mint-
it plays clean and straight, no surface noise, no scratches at all! absolutely lovely!
it only has two fine surface scratches: visible but not hearable.
and if you look very close, a few tiny little surface scratches from pulling the record out of its sleeve.
and it also has a few fingertips on it, but I don't wanna clean it –> too risky for me!
I guess this one was played only two or three times!
BUT ANYWAY, AND THAT IS FOR SURE IT PLAYS LIKE NEW!

or you could also say a dark lavender
or you could also say its dark blue with a lot of red in it!
