Low start!.....NO Reserve!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
Very rare 45 by Beverley (later Beverely Martyn after marrying the late folk singer John Martyn). Here she sings a Donovan song "Museum" with almost a traditional jazz feel.
But you’ll want this for the other side "A Quick One For Sanity" listed as by “D.Cordell Tea Time Ensemble”. My research tells me this is actually by the Graham Bond Organization, with Jack Bruce(bass), Dick Heckstall-Smith(sax) and (probably) Jon Hiseman (drums) with a killer Hammond sound and sax solo by Dick.
Denny Cordell is well known as the producer behind The Moody Blues, Georgie Fame and The Move. This is not the first, or the last time a Graham Bond track would be utilized by another artist. The Who's "Substitute" B-side "Waltz For A Pig" was a GB track.
Condition-wise the record is scuffed so some crackle is audible. Name written on the label. In original Deram sleeve.
