She was the daughter of an acrobat father and a mother who loved to sing. So it came to be, that Edith Piaf, amid the tumult of Paris, came to stand on a street corner, singing…like a bird.
These are the best known songs of the “Little Sparrow,” as she came to be known, here collected by EMI and pressed on this side of the Pond by Capitol.
Selections include LA VIE L’AMOUR, LES TROIS CLOCHES, LA VIE EN ROSE, MILORD, C’EST A HAMBOURG, HYMNE A L’AMOUR, BRAVO POUR LE CLOWN, and C’EST L’AMOUR, among others.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
