Please check out my other items as I am listing over 15 classical test records this week, all on auction. For me these are very hard to research so there could be a gem or two amongst them.

This is a very rare test record set of

Beethoven Symphony No. 9 

 Sir Georg Solti Conducts the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

I think it is from the 1972 recording DECCA 6BB 121/2 as matrix numbers are similar but I can't find a reference to "11BB 195-11BB196" it may have been a test record that never went into production.

Please use the photo's to research this for yourself as I have no other information apart from what is on the label and the stamped matrix numbers.

There are 2, double sided discs contained in 2 inner sleeves.

The vinyl is in excellent condition , there is one light scratch on side two. It shouldn't affect play. They have both been lightly played but well looked after. I can only do a visual grading as I have nothing to play them on.
