Description
From 1964, comes The Beatles with their LP Songs,Pictures and Stories Of The Fabulous Beatles on Vee-Jay 1092 MONO. This is a clever re-package(with a different cover) of Introducing The Beatles. Two-thirds gatefold cover original with information on The Beatles inside. This ultra rare album was a clever re-packaging of Introducing The Beatles . The reason that this rare package was issued is that there had earlier been a lawsuit filed by Capitol against Vee-Jay Records about how who had the right to release Beatle records in America! Vee-Jay had failed to make some royalty payments and this gave Capitol the in, and they ultimately won their suit! Vee-Jay was allowed to use only the Beatle tracks they controlled until a specified date. Hence, this rare LP was issued briefly before the rights Vee-Jay controlled were given to Capitol, as ordered by the court.
This is a very rare cover, as it is in SUPER condition! Most copies of this LP cover are extremely worn.
