Description

Please Please Me by The Beatles.. Mono edition from 1963 with yellow Parlophone lettering on the centre of the album and cover photo by Angus McBean. Rear cover is Ernest J. Day and the catalogue number is PMC1202. I think it is the fourth pressing of this iconic album but I stand to be corrected on that. This was bought by my dad from new in 1963 and will have been looked after very well as is evidenced from its condition in the photos. Yes, there are some minor creases to the edges of the sleeve but these are only where it was stored and if I had to score it out of 10 I'd give it an "8" as, after all it is a 50 year old album. The album itself was last played about 6 months ago when we last had a stereo with a record player on and it played fine then and I've no reason to doubt that it won't be fine when its subsequently played as its been well stored.
