We're really excited to have on sale today something quite special ! It's an Australian "A" label promo of The Beatles "Got To Get You Into My Life" BW "Helter Skelter. You may know that some Beatles "A" label promo's were only number in the low hundred, sometimes no more than 200 so owning one of these is something special indeed. Looking at the history this single was never commercially released in Australia which makes it even more collectable.
The single was commercially released in the United States as part of the promo of "The Rock And Roll Music Compilation" album in 1976, a decade after it's initial release and six years after the Beatles split up. It reaches number 7 on the Billbard Hot 100 Chart which became their last top ten there til the release of "Free As A Bird".
The condition of the record looks close to minty, it doesn't come in an original EMI sleeve but that can be easily sorted if you'd like one, the sleeve that it's in now is from a radio station library. There's a sticker on the A side which downgrades this then to a VG+, vinyl is a very strong VG++.
I'm starting this single at a reasonable price, as you can see there isn't another on Ebay at the moment so it's something special. Only serious bidders for this item !
