On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Yellow Submarine" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press Dark Apple label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT SOLD FAR FAR LESS THAN ANY OF THEIR OTHER LPs AND IS INCREDIBLY TOUGH TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE, WITH 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS, AND INCREDIBLY EARLY 1/R & 1/O MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS!!!!

AND FOR ONCE, WE CAN TELL EXACTLY WHEN THIS LP WAS MADE!!!!  THIS LP ORIGINALLY CAME FROM AN ARCHIVE MUSIC RECORD LIBRARY, AND WAS DATE STAMPED WHEN IT WAS FILED AWAY.  THIS LP HAS '19 JAN' STAMPED ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER, AND ALSO 'COPY' FAINTLY STAMPED UNDERNEATH IT.  THIS WAS ONLY 2 DAYS AFTER THE RELEASE DATE (THIS LP WAS RELEASED ON THE 17/01/1969), AND WOULD HAVE BEEN SENT OUT FROM THE FACTORY TO THE ARCHIVE MUSIC LIBRARY JUST PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  AND THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!  NOW AS ANY ONE KNOWS THE "YELLOW SUBMARINE" LP REMAINED IN THE CHARTS FOR SOMETIME, AND REMAINED COMPLETELY UNCHANGED FROM THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' ON THE 17th JANUARY 1969 THROUGH TO MAY 1969 - WHEN THE 'SOLD IN THE UK' WAS REMOVED FROM THE LABELS.  SO IT IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW WHAT DATE A 'YELLOW SUBMARINE' LP WAS REALLY MADE.  YOU COULD QUITE EASILY BUY A NM COPY SOLD AS A 1ST PRESSING, BUT ACTUALLY IT COULD JUST AS EASILY HAVE BEEN MADE IN MAY 1969 (5 MONTHS AFTER THE RELEASE DATE!) - RATHER THAN JANUARY 1969!!!!  LUCKILY IN THIS CASE, AS STATED ABOVE, THIS LP ORIGINALLY CAME FROM AN ARCHIVE MUSIC LIBRARY, AND IS DATE STAMPED ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER!!!!  NORMALLY ANY STAMPING ON AN LPs COVER IS VIEWED AS A DETRACTION.  BUT WHEN THIS DATE STAMP ACCURATELY PUTS THIS LP RECIEVED JUST AFTER THE 'DAY OF RELEASE' (AND SENT OUT PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE!) - I THINK THIS IS MOST DEFINITELY AN 'ADDED BONUS' - RATHER THAN A DETRACTION!!!!  BECAUSE IT TELLS YOU THAT THIS LP IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING - AND WAS SENT OUT TO THE MUSIC LIBRARY BEFORE THE VERY 'DAY OF RELEASE'!!!!  AND WITH NO OTHER WAY OF KNOWING - YOU CAN IN THIS LPs CASE BE 100% CONFIDENT THAT YOU ARE GETTING A 100% GENIUNE 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING, MADE PRIOR TO THE RELEASE DATE - WHEN THIS LP HADN'T EVEN ENTERED THE CHARTS!!!!

THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSING!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS WERE ONLY EVER PRESSED IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (NO MORE THAN A HUNDRED COPIES AT THE VERY MOST!), AND WERE ONLY EVER USED FOR 'IN-HOUSE' USE BY EMI / APPLE THEMSELVES (FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES), SENT OUT TO RADIO STATIONS OR RECORD LIBRARIES (AS IN THIS CASE!), OR VERY OCCASSIONALLY ONE WAS GIVEN OUT TO 'IMPORTANT VISITORS' TO THE FACTORY - SUCH AS PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS FOR EXAMPLE!!!!  BARELY ANY 'FACTORY SAMPLE' PRESSINGS OF THIS LP WERE EVER MADE - MAKING THIS LP OF THE UTMOST RARITY!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, only 3 or 4 light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO skips, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in which looks to be its ORIGINAL 1st Press Black Inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition (though it is worth noting, that although this inner is clearly VERY old & made of the correct paper, it has no centre hole, so it could be generic from around the same time period)!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, 1 crease in the bottom right corner, only a few VERY light creases elsewhere (cover is still VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, NO splits, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the bottom corners,  NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, VERY nice flipbacks, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, only 1 MEGA faint 'age trace' in the bottom left corner, NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
