BEATLES RARE VERY TOGETHER LP EXTREMELY SCARCE CANADA ONLY RELEASE 'PAUL IS DEAD' COVER
Hamburg studio recordings from 1961 with Tony SheridanThis is the album that kick started the 'Paul is dead' rumors, released only in Canada in 1969 on Polygram Records (242-008). Note on the cover that one of the four candles is snuffed out. This is to represent Paul's death. As a result, this LP has gained great historical importance and has become very collectible. One of the all time rarest albums in the Beatles vinyl catalog. This is your chance to own the Beatles classic 1961 Hamburg recordings done with Tony Sheridan. Check your price guides on this one. Mint copies go for upwards of $150.
There is no writing on the cover and as you can see from the photo, it's in fantastic shape. The spines are in perfect shape. I would rate the cover 9 out of 10. Both labels are close to perfect so I would rate them 9 out of 10. I've personally played the LP myself to guarantee that there are no skips and it sounds great. The vinyl is very shiny and thick. There are a few very light scratches so I would rate the vinyl a conservative 8 out of 10. This copy is a definite keeper; one of the best I've ever seen.
