BEATLES UK – Revolver LP, original Mono.

1966 PMC 7009 – original black and yellow Parlophone labels.

An early UK Mono copy of this album in original condition, featuring:

1. each of the record labels have a rough texture around the spindle hole, where the labels surface past the ridge is smooth !,

2. on the record label on side two there is the spelling of ‘Doctor’ Robert, but on the rear of the sleeve this title track is spelt ‘Dr’ !.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. This laminate is very glossy and unscuffed. There is little in the way of the usual ‘thumbnail’ creases to the front of the sleeve. The two opening edges of the sleeve are crisp and sharp. The rear features the original tri-flipback design. The rear of the sleeve is in excellent condition and is unscuffed. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is readable on the spine. There are NO tears, pen writing, stains, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original EMI period ‘Patents applied for’ white sleeve. A very clean and well preserved sleeve for its age. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

THE VINYL: is in very good++ condition, it is made of the period thick, heavy vinyl. The vinyl has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are:  XEX 605 - 2  and  XEX 606 – 2,

The mother / stampers are:   ‘ 6  G L H ’  and  ‘6  G R H’,

THE AUDIO: side one is excellent, side two plays near excellent, for on track three I did hear some light ‘ticks’ to the end, for about one minute. On track five I did hear some light ‘ticks’ midway through for about one minute. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: are in excellent++ condition. The letters ‘K T’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side two. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
