These Beatles Capitol Compact 33 7" EPs were made in the most limited of quantities with very few known to still exist, and are in the highest demand by the most serious of Beatles collectors in the U.S. and around the globe !!
This Beatles 7" Compact 33 EP record is over 54 YEARS OLD and is in VG/VG+ condition. It does show minor play with only minor scratches.
The Capitol 33 labels remain very vibrant and free from any marks.
The Rare Capitol Compact 33 sleeve is in absolutely NM/MINT condition
with NO rips, NO splits, NO creases, NO tape, NO fading and NO writing.
The Beatles Second Album Compact 33 was released in April 1964 and was the second of only 3 to ever be released by Capitol Records in this mini-album 7" EP super rare jukebox version, and pressed exclusively on the East Coast.
"MFD BY CAPITOL RECORDS INC U. S. A." and "T.M. MARCA REG U.S. PAT. NO. 2,631,859" were printed at outer rim.

The compact 33 was an experimental and extremely short-lived disc format of the early 1960s. The disc measures seven inches in diameter (45 sized), has a small center hole, and plays at 33-1/3 RPM. The format was used primarily for mono and stereo singles.
Capitol also put the compact 33 to use in "open-end" interviews — a deceptive yet highly successful technique many record companies employed to promote their artists. Local disc jockeys played the records to stage a fake interview by reading prepared questions from a script between recorded responses. This gave radio stations all over the country an “exclusive” interview.
Capitol and a few other companies manufactured compact 33 records for special jukeboxes but gave up when the 45 single took over the market. Each disc contained six songs those Capitol Records considered the album's best. Please view all the photos as this is the EXACT item you'll receive !!

COMMENTS Capitol issued stereo compact 33 disks for jukebox play.
These 7 inch records had a small center hole (solid center) and played at 1/3 33 r.p.m.
All three Beatles' compact 33 series were manufactured by Capitol's Scranton factory.
The black label has an outer rim colorband and Capitol logo at the bottom.
The second Beatles compact 33 disk was issued for THE BEATLES SECOND ALBUM in Stereo Only and has six tracks from the LP.
