Ultrarare französische Pressung auf blauem Odeon Label OSX HS 24001!
MONO, eingestanzte/stamped Matrix-Nummer: XEX 579 21 / XEX 580 21
Die französische Erstpressung der RUBBER SOUL (OSX 232) wurde normalerweise bereits mit dem orangenen Odeon-Label gepresst, da Odeon die Labelfarbe 1965 von balu auf orange umstellte. HELP! war daher die letzte LP auf dem blauen Label. Diese hier hat aber noch das BLAUE Label. Die Ähnlichkeit der fünfstelligen Seriennummer (24001) mit den französischen Export-EPs (ebenfalls 20000er Nummern) aus dieser Zeit deutet stark daraufhin, dass diese Version ebenso eine Exportversion sein muss.
In keinem mir bekannten Referenzbuch wird dieses Album erwähnt.

Cover und LP sind in einem beeindruckenden Zustand (Vinyl optisch: VG+, akustisch: EX), schönes, glänzendes Vinyl.
Seite 2 zeigt ein paar sichtbare Wischer,
die aber nicht zu hören sind.
Hervorragend klingendes, glorioses MONO.
Das Cover ist frei von Beschriftungen,
nur kleine Einknicke an den Rändern.
Label tadellos erhalten

The french first pressing of RUBBER SOUL (OSX 232), as commonly known, was pressed with the orange Odeon-Label as Odeon changed the label from blue to orange during 1965. Therefore HELP was the last Beatles-Album released with the blue label. But this version still carries the old BLUE label. The similarity of the serialnumber (24001) with those of the french Export-EPs (also in the 20000s), strongly suggests that this must be an unknown export edition as well.
It´s never mentioned in any reference book I´ve seen so far.

The cover and the vinyl are in great condition
(Vinyl optical: VG+, plays EX). Nice, shiny vinyl.
Side 2 carries some visible marks,
but they do not affect play at all.
Heavy sounding, glorious MONO.
The cover is free of writing or anything,
a small crease on the edges, that´s all.
Labels in excellent condition.
