Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Revolver' and is a MEGA RARE MONO UK 1966 1st pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!  THIS 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING WITH THE 'WRONG MIX' WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME (BEFORE BEING IMMEDIATELY CORRECTED) AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  THIS ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESSING HAS THE ALL IMPORTANT 'XEX-606-1' SIDE 2 MATRIX WHICH SHOWS THAT THIS LP IS ONE OF THE MEGA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS THAT PLAYS THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS'!!!!  AND THIS WRONG MIX IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE STANDARD VERSION - WITH A LONGER PIANO OUTRO AT THE END OF THE TRACK AND FAR MORE PRONOUNCED 'SEAGULL' NOISES!!!!  IN FACT IT IS A CLEARER MIX ALTOGETHER AND IN MY OPINION I CANNOT SEE WHY IT WAS EVER CHANGED!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS AN ULTRA RARE 'E.J.DAY' COVER (MOST WERENT) AND THIS IS ALWAYS AN INDICATION OF A VERY EARLY 1ST PRESSING INDEED!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND THE BEST I HAVE SEEN FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!!!  THIS IS THE 1966 UK MONO '606-1' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'DR ROBERT' CREDIT ON THE SIDE 2 LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO COVER, 'THE GRAMOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT, 'SOLD IN THE UK' TEXT, AND 1ST PRESS 'PATENTS APPLIED FOR' PLAIN WHITE INNER SLEEVE!!!!   THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK MONO 1st pressing from 1966 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 605-2 & YEX 606-1. The mother & stamper codes are 1/M & 1/L - MEGA early mother & stamper codes!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 7009 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a 1966 MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 absolutely TINY hairlines, 1 VERY small NON sounding surface scuff, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight low level background sound on the run on grooves and occassional gap - though this lost well behind the music which plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  The record must grade visually Very Good++++ if not better - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its 1st Press 'Patents Applied For' plain white inner sleeve which is in STUNNING condition!!!!  The 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Laminated Flipback MONO Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (Cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and barely ANY yellowing AT ALL!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A '606-1' 1ST PRESSING WITH THE WRONG MIX OF 'TOMMORROW NEVER KNOWS' - SO  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
