This is a VERY RARE Black & Gold MONO UK 1963 Pressing called 'Please Please Me' and is in GREAT condition with BRILLIANT labels!!!! It is also the RAREST UK Black & Gold Pressing with the MUCH rarer 'Northern Songs' credits to BOTH labels!!!!  THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP IN EVERY RESPECT!!!!  THIS LP HAS BRILLIANT CONDITIONED BLACK AND GOLD LABELS - AND THESE ARE ONE OF THE BETTER SETS OF LABELS I HAVE SEEN ON THIS LP!!!!  TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES - IT REALLY IS INCREDIBLY RARE TO FIND BLACK & GOLD LABELS IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS BLACK AND GOLD PRESSING HAS MUCH MUCH RARER 'NORTHERN SONGS' CREDITS ON BOTH LABELS!!!!  FINDING A 1963 UK BLACK & GOLD MONO PRESSING OF THIS LP IS HARD ENOUGH - BUT FINDING ONE WITH BRILLIANT LABELS LIKE THIS ONE HAS, AND WITH THE RARER 'NORTHERN SONGS' CREDITS - IS EXTREMELY RARE INDEED!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS MEGA RARE BLACK AND GOLD LP HAS A MEGA RARE INSERT!!!!  THIS INSERT ADVERTISES 'RECORD MAIL' & 'RECORD TIMES' - EMI'S OWN MONTHLY MUSIC MAGAZINES ADVERTISING THEIR OWN LABELS AND ARTISTS!!!!  THIS INSERT IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND WAS ONLY PUT INSIDE CERTAIN LPS FOR A VERY BRIEF PERIOD AT THIS TIME!!!!  IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THIS INSERT INSIDE ONE OF THESE LPS AND CAN ONLY SERVE TO MAKE THIS LP EVEN RARE STILL!!!!  THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE UK 1963 BLACK & GOLD MONO PRESSING AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!!  DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1963 MONO UK Black & Gold pressing from 1963 and is in GREAT condition!!!! This is an ORIGINAL UK 1963 Black & Gold pressing, with the Black & Gold Parlophone labels  (with the much MUCH rarer 'Northern Songs' Credits), 'The Parlophone Company' edge text, an E.J.Day Sleeve and a Polythene lined Emitex inner. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. The stamper codes are 1/GP & 1(with a 2 below it)/GH. BOTH FROM THE 1ST MOTHER!!!!  The record also has an MT tax code on the label.  The Cat. No is PMC 1202 on the ORIGINAL Black & Gold Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with VERY clear unfaded sharp Gold print, beautiful unfaded black colour, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  There is also some VERY minimal wear around the centre hole - but these labels are MILES better than most!!!!  There is NO writing and NO other damage to labels and these are certainly one of the BETTER sets of Black & Gold labels that I have seen!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! As many collectors know - Black and Gold Records are the VERY hardest Beatles Pressings to find in anywhere near decent condition. Most are found damaged and barely playable. However this one is NOT and the first thing to STRESS is that it is NOT 'covered' in marks and scratches!!!! In fact this vinyl retains a GREAT shine and is VERY 'black' looking - with NO nasty 'greying' of the vinyl!!!!   Visually the vinyl has a few hairlines (mostly to one side), a few light scufflines, a couple of small light surface marks and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays EVEN BETTER than the visual with barely ANY clicks/pops AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!! Even the gaps are VERY quiet indeed!!!!  There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  However the record does have a slight warp at the edge of the record - which does cause the needle to move - but DOES NOT jump!!!!  I have tested this on 3 different systems - and any needle should easily cope with it.  As the needle passes over the warp - there is a slight 'whooshing' sound on one side of the record ONLY (the other side has virtually NO sound at all) though this is virtually invisible in the music - and only affects the run on groove (on one side) and the first couple of gaps (on one side).  Even so - this really is a BRILLIANT playing Black and Gold pressing and VERY hard to find like this!!!!  Excluding the warp - the record must STRICTLY visually grade Very Good (Minus) - with the playing grade better still!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! THE MEGA RARE INSERT IS IN MINT 'NEVER TAKEN OUT OF THE COVER' CONDITION!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL POLYTHENE lined Emitex inner sleeve which again is in FANTASTIC condition!!!! The E.J.Day FLIPBACK Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear (apart from a couple tiny chips on the bottom edge - NOT through the colour), NO spinal wear, slight corner wear, only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO writing, only VERY minimal grubbyness, and only some VERY slight yellowing!!!! There is also some ruffling/creases to the bottom flipback. The cover must grade Very Good (Minus) if not Very Good (Back Very Good (Minus)/Front Very Good+)!!!! THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RARE BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE UK PRESSING WITH A MEGA RARE INSERT AND IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!!  WHILST THIS ISNT A MINT COPY - IT DOES HAVE A MEGA RARE INSERT, PLAYS WELL AND HAS BRILLIANT LABELS!!!!   IT IS ALSO HAS THE MUCH RARER 'NORTHERN SONGS' LABEL CREDITS TOO - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE LP!!!!
