' 'Following the release of the complete CD remasters and the BBC documentary, interest in the Beatles is greater than ever. With great condition vinyl pressings becoming rarer by the day, its a great time to invest in an original vinyl pressing of this classic Beatles album.'

RECORD - This is an original 1963 issue of the yellow and black label in fabulous condition, with "The Parlophone Co. Ltd." in on the rim print. No "Sold in the U.K." statement, and gold tint cover
These points confirm it is a 1963 1st pressing of the yellow and black label. On later (post 1963) pressings: "Sold in the U.K." appears between 1964 and 1965; And The Gramaphone Co. Ltd. appears on all labels between 1965 to 1969. Neither of these points are on this label. Please see photo of the label.

VINYL - Nr MINT – This is an exceptional copy of PLEASE PLEASE ME. Both sides are virtually unmarked, have a great sheen and sound great. Sensational visual appearance - wonderful sheen and thick quality pressing. There is one of the lightest hairlines only, and thats it. NO scratches, NO chips or scuff marks. A really great copy which sounds great and looks almost news. Plays with all the power on every channel.
-
AUDIO QUALITY - Album Played For Grading: Yes – brilliant! - Nr MINT sound quality throughout. Absolutely no skips, pops or distortion. Minimal surface sound between tracks, they sound is clean and crisp, absolutely wonderful
This great record plays beyond the visual grading. it plays through with great mono power and clarity. The Tones are beautifully defined in this first UK pressing, with a great depth of sound and each channel being clearly defined, with a warm rich sound, which is infinitely superior to the later pressings. Thick quality press with the wider, first pressed grooves, make this audio one of the best pressings I’ve heard from this classic.

LABELS - Nr MINT - deep colour with some very light needle marks only.

COVER - EXCELLENT
The front is EXCELLENT, with a fantastic sheen. It is flat and crisp with little wear to the corners and minimal laminate creasing. Flip backs are intact with some light creasing and a very slight stain in the bottom right hand corner. The Spine and spine text is totally intact and the spine is undamaged. Some extremely light mottling and marks on the back only

"Recording first published 1963" printed on the label. Credited: Dick James Music Co.
Cover is the rare first press version - Printed and Made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London with Angus McBean credit.
-
INNER - comes with Original EMITEX inner in EXCELLENT Condition
-
RARITY - First pressings Getting very rare, and available copies are getting scarcer by the day. To find a copy in this condition makes it highly sort after, collectable and fast becoming very difficult to find. There are a mixture of new and old formats being sold from the very early days of this albums release, without any doubt that these ones sold out fast. What is totally certain is the ratio of original format copies is only a small fraction compared to the many pressed and re-pressed later versions. Finding a 1N Yellow and Black Parlophone pressing in Nr MINT condition is very rare indeed

Vinyl. - large format covers with the original sound and mix of the highest quality sound.
Please note. I have described this vinyl as honestly and accurately as possible. Please allow for occasional static (possibly giving a very light crackle) that will nearly always be found on vinyl, No matter how perfect an example it is, or how well it has been looked after
Static caused by dust in the grooves of the vinyl, is not the same as mechanical damage to the vinyl, i.e. a tick or jump caused by a deep scratch or chip.

MINT: Virtually unplayed. The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover is pristine.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
V.G PLUS: The record will still be nice and shiny, but may have a few light marks, and will play well. Slight wear and tear on the cover.
V.G: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, etc.
FAIR: Fair. It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated very noticeably. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.
