THE ROLLING STONES "STICKY FINGERS" LP RARE WHITE VINLY REISSUE LP MADE IN SPAIN
Description
From 2008 comes this stunning reissue of the mega rare Spanish LP version of the Rolling Stones classic LP "Sticky Fingers". The original sleeve designed by Andy Warhol of course featured the famous zipper and jeans. In Spain in 1971 the cover was deemed to be too suggestive and bizarrely was replaced with the image of fingers seemingly chopped off and stuck in a can of treacle. Of bigger concern for the spanish authorities were the numerous drug references on the album so much so that Sister Morphine was replaced by a live version of the Chuck Berry classic "Let It Rock". This album for some reason features the original LP tracklisting making me think that this was a rare mispressing that made it out of the factory.
What makes this LP even more unique is that this reissue was supposed to feature a record pressed on green vinyl (see photo). This LP features a WHITE vinyl finish which makes this even more desirable. This is a unique opportunity to purchase a Stones rarity at a reasonable price given it is virtually impossible to find an original even in Spain today. (Don't worry I have tried ;-)
Condition
This LP is new and has never been played. There are some minor creases on the lower edge of the cover but these are minor. Overall the LP is in EX/EX condition. (As per Record Collector Magazine UK Grading System)
