Description
Here we have a super rare Black/Gold first press of Please Please Me. This is a great copy of this scarce pressing of this classic album. This copy is a wierd one due to 'Dick James Mus Co.' publishing credit for Ask Me Why & Please Please Me, but it has 'Northern Songs Ltd' publishing credits for I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Do You Want To Know A Secret & There's A Place!! The labels have 'The Parlophone Co Ltd' and the small '33 1/3' to the left of the centre hole. The sleeve is the original 'large' mono version with the Angus McBean photo credit in the botom right corner, the sleeve is a first print 'Printed and Made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. London'. Also this album carries the tax code of MT. The disc is housed in its original Polythene-lined 'Use Emitex' inner sleeve. This a great chance to aquire a great sounding copy of this super rare item.

Overall a fantastic sounding copy of this great LP.
