Description
The beatles - please please me STEREO GOLD and BLACK
1st U.K 1963 pressing stereo pcs 3042 black and gold parlophone labels Dick james music credits for please please me, I saw her standing there, Misery, Do you want to know a secret and There's a place. Made in Gt. Britain and Parlophone co rim but without recording first published.
MZT embossed on side two label
Front laminated flipback sleeve printed by Ernest J.Day and co. London with the large stereo logo.
Correct 1st state gold and black sleeve with the Angus mcbean credit to the far bottom right touching the brown.
Matrix side one : YEX 94 - 1 STAMPERS G 1
Matrix side two : YEX 95 - 1 STAMPERS R 1
Sleeve condition - The sleeve is graded as VERY GOOD CONDITION no splits, no tears, no handwriting, no stains ,no half moon laminate creasing. The sleeve suffers from knocks to all four corners minor creasing and some minor wear to the flipback bottom right near the e.j.day printing and there is also an original shop sticker present rear bottom left. Although I'm grading the sleeve as VG it is still clean and white on the rear as you will see in the pictures and for a stereo gold and black sleeve it is in decent condition considering.
Vinyl condition - The vinyl visually is graded as VERY GOOD MINUS CONDITION graded in strong bright light.
The record displays some surface marks and the odd scratch but still as a nice shine to both sides.
No Dishing or warping...The vinyl sits 100% flat on the turntable
Audio - THE RECORD PLAYS WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS.
However the record does play with some surface noise... ticks, pops and the odd click but there is no detoration in sound quality , The sound is still loud and the surface noise is does not totally distract from the listening experience.
Both labels are graded as GOOD CONDITION they have some handling marks and spindle wear and also around the spindle wear is some rubbing to the black print...probably caused back in the sixties on one of those horrible old record players with the big spindles.
Comes with the correct poly lined emitex inner which is free from rips and tears.
Strict grading I grade with the U.K record collectors grading system and offer money back guarantee if not satisfied.
MINT - EXCELLENT - VERY GOOD - GOOD - FAIR - BAD
