BEATLES PLEASE PLEASE ME Matrix no.s ending 1N/1N 1963 Vinyl LP
Rarest 2nd Pressing BLACK GOLD Mono Parlophone Label with corrected Northern Songs credits
Only between 900 &1200 copies (depending on which source you believe) of this version of the LP were ever issued and was it only available for a couple of weeks in spring 1963, right before the labels changed to the yellow and black variations used for the majority of the 1960s
On this rare variation the Dick James publishing credits have been replaced with The Beatles own publishing credit Northern Songs as originally intended
Vinyl is VG, has quite a few light scuffs & scratches but nothing that impacts play & the record still sounds outstanding
Sleeve is G, has a large split along the bottom seam & times written next to the tracklistings of side B in red biro.
This record is becoming increasingly hard to find in any condition and it's value is only set to rise year on year
