Welcome to my auctions....check out the other vinyl listed, more added each week and follow me so you don't miss out.
My dad was a private collector, he collected thousands and thousands of records from 1950's to early 2000's, many are rarities, obscurities and some are unique, I am not a dealer, just selling the collection now he is unable to do so himself.
You can expect great service/fast dispatch/super strong packaging/combined shipping and honest, no nonsense gradings BUT Please read descriptions.
Beatles - Please Please Me - Gold & Black Labels - Mono - Rarest Gold & Black Issue with Northern Songs 2nd UK Pressing - Extremely Rare LP - Great Vinyl + Great Sleeve + Earliest Inner - Superb Audio
Great 2nd pressing which has the Northern Songs Credits On Labels, These are much rarer than the Dick James Credit pressings that are always up for sale, these 2nd Pressings hardly ever come up and this one is in Great Condition
Side 1: XEX 421 - 1N
Side 2: XEX 422 - 1N
Both Sides have a few very faint superficial marks and a couple of faint scratches, nothing that can be felt, a bit of extremely faint scuffing near edges and a handful of extremely light sleeve removal marks under strong artificial light. On the whole it is shiny mostly clean. non of the faint marks affect play, it's a Great example of this Very Rare Earliest Pressing, Not perfect but certainly one of the best you will find. Great Audio.
PLAYTESTED and the audio is strong and vibrant, no deterioration in sound, it sounds amazing, No Jumps, sticks or skips and it lays flat on the turntable. Very slight static in the quite parts, this has not been cleaned but has been stored for 40+ years so will benefit from a proper clean which I will let the new owner do/consider.
Labels both have signs of play(spiders legs) under strong light, Both labels are clean and free from the usual writing etc...see photos
Original Front laminated Flipback Earliest and rarest Ernest J Day Sleeve has some light wear. The front of sleeve shows Only Light rubbing, still has some shine, there are a few tiny creases from edges but only one fine thumbnail near opening. Some corner wear. No wear to top edge, bottom edge has a small patch of wear in the middle and near right corner. Some handling wear/discolouration to opening edge and the slightest trace of selotape residue from the 70s on the outside and a brown stripe just inside the sleeve along opening edges. The Back of sleeve is crisp, clean and still quite white with only a brown line along opening edge from old selotape. Flipbacks are all solid with no damage and hardly any creasing. Spine is solid and still fully readable....see photos...This is a Great Example of this sleeve.
The original Poly Lined Inner is clean with some creasing, there is a split down one side but bottom and other side are split free.
A Holy Grail LP In Great Condition.
With that said....many rarities will be listed, some fair condition some near mint.
