Description
I have up for sale a GERMAN copy of THE BEATLES album "PLEASE, PLEASE ME" that was released back in 1964! This is an official German release from Odeon company issued for the U.S. and G.B. soldiers that in the 1960's were stationed in West-Germany and West-Berlin after II World War. Being in stereo there wouldn't have been very many copies made. Stereo albums were a rarity in UK & Europe in the early 60's because so few households had the equipment on which to play them.
THIS VERSION WAS ONLY FOR GERMAN RELEASE AND FINDING ONE IN THE STATES IS RARE!!
Both the vinyl and jacket / sleeve are in GOOD CONDITION (description below) with most of the jacket / sleeve flaws / wear pictured. The vinyl has many scuffs / wear and when played have a "scratchy" quality to them (please view videos). It definitely skips on these songs: "Ask Me Why" as well as between "Baby It's You" and "Do You Want To Know A Secret."
