The Beatles: George Harrison (vocals, guitar); John Lennon (vocals, guitar, harmonica); Paul McCartney (vocals, bass); Ringo Starr (vocals, drums). Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London, England. "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" were recorded in September 1962. The other 12 tracks were recorded on February 11, 1963 ("Twist And Shout" was the last song to be recorded). Includes liner notes by Tony Barrow. Recorded in between a cup of tea and a cigarette, this album is raw yet dazzling. Here were four lads, highly experienced on stage, but with little or no idea of what a recording studio was like.They were subtly marshalled by the much-respected George Martin to deliver an entire album that was exactly what the fans wanted, but was still a surprise. Things were never as simple as this again, yet the genius is there. Examples are Lennon's unmatchable rasping on "Twist And Shout," McCartney's graceful ease in singing "I Saw Her Standing There," Harrison's sparse but definite Gretsch chords, and Starr's ace vocal on "Boys."

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have some surface wear along with several marks evident ............. The disc plays through with great sound quality , although there is some between track noise on a few of the song space bands ........ Having said that, the actual sound quality really is good : The Disc is Carefully Graded at VERY GOOD condition (most would grade higher)

Label Condition:- Both labels have very light use ........... light spindle use : Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

Condition of Sleeve:- E.J.Day flipover sleeve , with the large Stereo print at top right hand corner

Front: The laminated front has light wear only .......... a few minor crease traces

Rear: The rear panel has light ageing ........ nice and clean . Nice flipovers , one nick on top flip

Spine: Great spine and edges , very mild corner taps

The Sleeve is Carefully Graded in at least VERY GOOD / Nearing EXCELLENT condition.

Complete with original Emitex polylined Liner Sleeve ................

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as 'Stunning!! Rare!! Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
