BEATLES 'PLEASE PLEASE ME' 1963 3RD PRESSING UK PARLOPHONE MONO LP PMC 1202 RARE LABEL. This is from my own personal collection and I remember buying it new in 1963 (just after my 16th birthday!) from Parkes in Stafford. It was of course often played but I always kept it in the cover and I have just played it again on my retro turntable....great! It has some scuffs but plays well. I am not an expert collector but research indicates it is a 3rd pressing. It is the black and yellow label with The Parlophone Co Ltd around the label edge. It has a rare tiny additional 331/3 on the left side of the label under the 'A' in 'PARLOPHONE'. The etched matrix mark on the inner ring is XEX 421-1N/XEX 422-1N. The outer E J Day cover is somewhat battered and split still with the original store label. You will also see my initials in biro. The original poly-lined inner sleeve with the Emitex ad is still there. I am just starting to list some of my old records, albums, ep's and singles, so please check for more.
