Description
Paul McCartney and Wings "Red Rose Speedway " New Zealand PCTC 251 . Features green apple labels! Not only that but this is a mis press with the titles missing which were fixed up up a subsequent green apple issue.
The Lp was first issued in New Zealand on the black red and blue picture labels like most places. Then a later and very rare issued happened with plain green apples. But this first apple issue missed the titles.
I have shown the corrected labels from another issue to show the difference. See pic 3. Not many know about this!
Very hard to find. EMI in NZ had a habit of carelessness with apple labels, ie using orange apples on Band On The Run (see separate listing) and green apples on other LP's instead of running new picture labels (like Imagine, Material World, Ringo etc)
Pressing on apple around 300 done, not sure how many slipped through like this but only seen 2 like it in my 30 years.

COVER: The covers were imported ones from Australia too expensive to produce with booklet and braille in NZ. Ex, but has some ring wear more noticeable on rear. Booklet Ex+.
POSTAGE: Standard International Airmail Post Worldwide $14.00.

Ebay tell me I have to offer an insured option, which is available if required, at an additional $7.50.
