KISS ALIVE 2 ERROR ALBUM!!! THIS ALBUM COVER CONTAINS 3 SONGS THAT WERE NOT ON THE ALBUM. "TAKE ME", "HOOLIGAN", AND "DO YOU LOVE ME" ARE LISTED ON THIS COVER.
This is what the Goldmine KISS Collectibles Price Guide says about this album:
"Most interesting of all is that reportedly less than 50 copies were released with jackets erroneously listing three songs that do not appear on any vinyl copies."
"This version is reported to be the rarest of all KISS American releases."
"Rumor has Gene Simmons putting the number produced at 50 copies."
Credit numbers go up to 7 also on the error copy, where the regular A-2 album only goes to 6.
Goldmine also reports, "Alive 2 was never a record found in the cut-out bins, yet the error copy has been seen with cut corners in the upper left, upper right, and lower left corners."
FROM THE FRONT OF THIS ALBUM THERE IS A LOWER RIGHT CUT!
Condition: Album has no inserts, but they shouldn't be hard to find, both albums and sleeves in good condition.
Front of album has some wearing from the album as you can see in the picture.
The Back Error cover is in very good condition, and is very clear.
I have a low starting Bid of $150.00 so I know you will not find one lower!! I can't remember when the last on came up on e-bay.
