BEATLES "Let It Be" RARE APPLE Original 1970 Canadian Box Set LP with Book!
Original limited edition Canadian pressing on Apple Records. Includes original 160 page "The Beatles Get Back" softcover photo book filled with exclusive photos of the band.Comes in original outer slipcase which shows some wear on the top seam but no splits other than the paper which has separated from the cardboard but is still attached (see photo). LP cover shows some ringwear. Vinyl has light scratches and plays with some surface noise but overall still has some lustre, clean custom Apple labels and original "Phil + Ronnie" and "Bell Sound" stampers. SOAL-6351 labels indicated this is an original pressing intended for release with this box set only! The non-deluxe pressing of this LP had a different label number. This pressing is also one of the last of the coveted Capitol T6000 series of unique Canadian pressings. Of the 4 Beatles releases in the 6000 series this is the RAREST (Beatlemania!, Twist and Shout, Long Tall Sally being the others in the series).
Book is in beautiful condition. This book is often split with loose pages due to the glue used to bind the book which becomes increasingly brittle with age. Just a couple of wear marks to the upper and bottom edges of the spine. Laminated cover is still glossy and spine is tight with no stresses or wrinkles. All pages are intact and look amazingly fresh for a book over 40 years old! No tears, creases or folds to any of the pages. A nice bonus considering the fragile nature of this book.
