Original box set LP sleeve had a Red Apple Logo on the reverse, replaced with the standard Green Apple for the later non box set.
"Let It Be" is the 12th and final studio album by the British rock group The Beatles. It was released in the UK on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up, in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. It was initially released as a box set, with a 164-page book titled "Get Back", containing stills and dialogue from the film. The back sleeve has a red Apple logo, but the labels have the green Apple logo.
In most countries except the United States, the Let It Be LP was originally presented in a box with a full colour book. The book contained photos by Ethan Russell from the January 1969 filming, dialogue from the film, with all expletives removed at EMI's insistence, and essays by Rolling Stone writers Jonathan Cott and David Dalton. Despite the new album title, the book was still titled Get Back.

In den meisten Ländern mit Ausnahme der Vereinigten Staaten wurde die Let It Be-LP ursprünglich in einer Box mit einem Farbbuch präsentiert. Das Buch enthält Fotos von Ethan Russell von den Dreharbeiten im Januar 1969, Dialoge aus dem Film, aus denen auf Drängen von EMI alle Schimpfwörter entfernt wurden, sowie Essays der Rolling Stone-Autoren Jonathan Cott und David Dalton. Trotz des neuen Albumtitels trug das Buch weiterhin den Titel Get Back.

Die Box bestehend aus Schuber und Innenteil sieht von außen noch recht gut aus, hat aber ein paar Knicke und kleine Risse an den Kanten.
Der innere Teil der Box mit zwei Laschen ist nicht mehr ganz vollständig, da der rechte innere Teil fehlt (→ Bilder).
Das Buch ist vollständig, aber teils aus dem Leim gegangen und deshalb an mehreren Stellen geklebt (→Bilder).

Das Plattencover ist ebenfalls zwischen VG und VG+ erhalten, hat keine nennenswerten Beschädigungen.

The box consisting of slipcase and inner part still looks quite good from the outside, but has a few creases and small tears on the edges.
The inner part of the box with two flaps is no longer quite complete, as the right inner part is missing (→ pictures).
The book is complete but partially out of glue and therefore glued in several places (→pictures).
Side A is visually VG and acoustically EX-.
Side B is visually EX- and acoustically EX.
The record cover is also preserved between VG and VG+, has no significant damage.
