Description
THE BEATLES - LOVE ME DO / P.S I LOVE YOU 45-R 4949
Red Parlophone Label with Mega RARE "Factory Sample NOT FOR SALE" Sticker
A must for all Beatles collectors as it is claimed that only 500 of each release were
issued with "Factor Sample" stickers.
This is the UBA RARE "Very 1st Pressing" on the Red label ,not having the "Sold
in UK" text and not having a mention of "Mono".
This is a serious rarity,it being the RED LABEL / FACTORY SAMPLE ISSUE!!!
Matrix 7XCE-17114-N & 7XCE 17145-1N
Stampers Side 1 1MPZT RN
Side 2 1MPZT RP
Ridiculously EARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Side 1 Label is in Good+ condition with the name Roy in black felt pen,and two initials R and a bit of scribble on the sticker - See pictures.
Side 2 Label is at least VG+
Sleeve is "Wavey" type at last a VG+
The vinyl is flat and has good sheen and looks in good order but i cannot comment on Audio values not having any playing facilities
BUT
Who Cares? This item is a collectors piece and whether it plays well or not is frankly
not relevant.
It is collectable as a RARITY because of the Red Label and Factory Sample Sticker.
The only detriment to this important piece of Beatles memorabilia is the bits of
biro work
BUT
How many Excellent or better pieces exist out of the original 500 issues?
