BEATLES APPLE LABEL - GENE ROCKWELL  - DIE JARE GAAN VERBY / ROSE IS ROOI  (RAREST APPLE 7" SINGLE IN THE WORLD !!!]

This auction is for GENE ROCKWELL 7" - DIE JARE GAAN VERBY / ROSE IS ROOI. This super rarity was pressed and issued in South Africa on the APPLE label in 1968 (Catalogue number: PD.9431).  The two songs featuring on this 7" single record, sung in Afrikaans by Gene Rockwell (South African rock singer), were for some unknown reason issued on the APPLE label by the Brigadiers music company in South Africa.  How it happened that one or two of these pressings were issued on the Apple label remains a mystery.  It seems that the first couple of pressings were done on the incorrect (Apple) label and some of those slipped through to one or two record stores.  The record is much sought after by serious collectors of extremely rare records.    

The record is VG- (General scuffs, but no deep scratches.  The record plays through nicely without any skips, but with background crackles and a click sound here and there.) The labels are VG(+) (very small tear mark on side A label).

Returns are accepted. Buyer has 7 days after he/she received the item to return it for money back. Buyer pays for shipping if item is returned to seller.
