Here is probably one of the Very Earliest + Rareist, copys ever pressed of the Red labelled 45-R-4983 Please Please Me 45 single From January 1963 [to be used as an official Test Sampler For Broadcasting Demonstration Purposes ,& In A Truly Fantastic Condition [Note!!! The Official Red Label releases of This Version Were Only Available For around 3 Weeks in early 1963 As EMI Effected A label change To the More Common & easer Found Black Label Parlophone Design Soon After Please Please Me's Initial Release in The U.K.] This Copy Also Coes with the mega early stampers MPTZ- 1 & 2, Matrix Stampers on the dead wax; Ending both sides as; -1N &-1N That are Pressed into the deadwax & ever to be offered for sale of the legendary 1ST 1963 U.K. Issue 45 Single of The Beatles "PLEASE PLEASE ME " COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL RED PARLOPHONE LABEL, & WITH NO "SOLD IN THE UK" TEXT, & DICK JAMES CO. This Copy Has a genuine 1963 Record Company SAMPLE COPY 'Not For sale' sticker Showing On Side Ones Record Label on this disc [NOT PHOTOCOPIED OR FAKE!!!] ,which shows visible & consistent age discolouration as you'd expect to the Red printed stickers whiter area' Showing it has Been There For 40+ Years PLEASE NOTE!!!  the Actual Red colouring  from the  records label has slightly bled  with age into the sample stickers old blottable paper & can be clearly seen though it  although this is hard to pick up in my pictures it is clearly there, as my camera is not the best either, but i,m sure winning bidder will genuinly be happy with it as a genuine article.] & on The B side of this single is Another Red Printed Sticker With perforations Still Showing Along its Top edge & with The Red Print Stating; " PROPERTY OF THE CHANGI BROADCASTING SERVICE" to Add further Authenticity to This Rare Example This Side Also Having The Label Print showing The Song; "ASK ME WHY". THIS MUST BE ONE OF THE TRUE HOLY GRAIL ITEMS FOR BEATLES COLLECTORS AND ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A SAMPLE COPY LIKE THIS & IN THIS GREAT A CONDITION AS WELL!!! SO, DON'T MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL 1963 UK SAMPLE pressing on the Red Parlophone label 45-R-4983, With THE Parlophone co ltd text running clockwise around the labels edges in upper/lower case text. & Also with the DICK JAMES CO. LTD publishing credits. Also Coming with The 'Made in Gt Britain' also printed,On both Sides Of The records Labels Above The Catolougue Number to the right Of Centre Hole. { Some Copies Have This Print & Some Do Not] & ALSO PLEASE NOTE ! This Copy Has NO MONO print as this is only to be found on the 1980 Re-issues!! & not The Original 60's Pressings The Stampers On The Dead Wax Are :Stamped matrix no,s found in the runoff grooves Dead Wax on this disc are; side 1. 7XCE 17217-1N and side 2. 7XCE 17218- IN. & Also Stamped On the A side at 9 o'clock is "MP" TZ and a "2". At 3 o'clock is "T". The B side Has at 9 o'clock "MP" T And a "1" At 3 o'Clock "T" Also. [ These are Unusual stampers for this release in 1963, which May Explain why this 7 " record being an early pressing Was used as a Sample copy'.In This Way ] The Red Record Labels Are In lovely Clean & Bright Red glossy Condition with Very Minimal wear [ & No Tears, Writings, Stains Or any other Defacements at All] & Virtually No spindle wear Whatsoever!!! Silver Printed Text Is Like New as Well. The Tax Code Stamped in the center of side 1's Label reads ; O.M.T The A side's record label having the afore mentioned " Sample Copy " sticker. No faults --tears, rips, or any other writing etc etc. Also Comes complete with its original 1963 multi coloured wavy striped parlophone type: A company sleeve exactly as shown in my pictures except the winning bidder will recieve a mint conditioned version of exactly the same type i have shown [ No tears, rips,creases, Writings,Etc etc. The Records Disc surface: -- This Fantastic Conditioned Copy Has been in my possesion for Around 29 years and this original 42 year old Record Disc grades M-/ Ex+ Side One; Mint Minus [ M-] No Scratches Or Any Marks At all ,--- Vinyl is Totally Glossy & Un Worn!!! Side 2; Again Fantastic Vinyl Gleaming with Just a Couple Of Light Whispy Hairline Marks That Are Inaudible when Playing The Disc & Very Feint Paper Sleeve Scuffs From Going In & Out Of its Paper Sleeve Grade as EX+ I Use Firm Grading As From The Record Collecter Guide Obviously no skipping or jumping at all.Disc plays perfectly both sides & Lies totally flat on the turntable with no distortion. This Record is NOT overgraded at all I use Record Collecter grading standards. It was a regular practice in the 1960's to use early factory pressed , 45 single's and For Emi To place Official Red & white Factory sample stickrsr at the record pressing plant,onto the disc, To Send Them Out to Be Used for Or By The Record Industry , for official in house purposes only,so that these Genuine & official,stickered Demonstration records never became available for release to the General public, and This 1963 factory stickered Sample copy was only used predominantly for record reviewing promotion purposes etc, etc. As Stated Further On The B side Sticker from An Official Broadcasting services Site.
