The Beatles - 'Rubber Soul' LP. PMC 1267
The Beatles 1965 UK MONO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Rubber Soul' LP. Released on the 3rd December 1965, this is the desirable XEX 579-5 / XEX 580-5 matrix version. It is widely regarded as the greatest sounding issue of Rubber Soul. In addition, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE and in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the ’Sold in UK….’ text and have ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd’ rim print. The ‘KT’ tax code is embossed on the side one label. The vinyl is housed within the original ‘Patents Applied For, Made in Great Britain’ inner sleeve and front laminated outer sleeve. A truly superb 5/5 matrix factory sample issue.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in MINT- condition. This looks to have seen very little play.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition.
The inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT- condition. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
