The Beatles - 'Rubber Soul' LP. PMC 1267
The Beatles 1965 2nd UK mono pressing of the 'Rubber Soul' LP. Released on the 3rd December 1965, this issue with 4/4 maxtrix numbers replaced the ill fated loud cut (1/1 matrix) in late 1965. This is visually exactly the same as the UK 1st pressing but contains a corrected and improved full album remix which was a huge improvement on the first issue.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label. Both vinyl labels feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side 1 label. The vinyl is housed within a 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover.
The Matrix numbers are:
Side 1. XEX 579-4 AGO 4 10
Side 2. XEX 580-4 RAM 4 12
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT- condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. Name, address and small amount of pen written neatly on rear (see pics).
