Description

The Beatles - 'Ticket To Ride / Yes It Is'. R 5265

The Beatles 1965 UK 1st FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Ticket To Ride / Yes It Is' 7" single. Released on the 9th April 1965, this is complete with original sleeve and rare 'News Flash!' promo insert. These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Released on the Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd' rim print. The KT tax code is embossed on the side two label. This comes complete with a very rare 'NEWS FLASH! NEW BEATLES SINGLE' promotional insert. The insert describes the release date and a few facts about the two tracks featured. very few of these must have been produced so quite a rarity.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7XCE 18254-3 2 RP KT

Side 2. 7XCE 18255-2 4 RP KT

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT- condition.

Both sides of the vinyl have been play tested with NO faults, some crackle can be heard in places.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The insert is in VERY GOOD- condition. Some wear to the top and bottom with light discolouration to the top and pin hole towards the top.
