The Beatles /The Collection is much more than an assemblage of Original Master Recordings by The Beatles: In the interest if total authenticity, MFSL has exclusively licensed the total album repertoire that The Beatles originally released in England through the EMI Records, Ltd. These LP's were issued from March 1963 through May, 1970 and include 192 individual Beatles songs.

   A Certificate of Authenticity, hand-numbered and signed to guarantee its enduring value. Only a very limited number of theses sets will be pressed and assembled by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. Once total quantities are sold out, each set will rapidly increase in value. Each Collection includes a large format art book, recounting the graphics history of original Beatles album cover artwork in beautiful full color. A Chronological and technological account of the making of The Beatles/The Collection is also included, written by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's senior technical staff. To permit you to even more accurately experience the sonic dynamics of these Original Master Recordings, Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab has enclosed on of its unique Geo-Disc alignment instruments with each Collection. The Geo-Disc enables you to easily align your turntable's cartridge to within 3/1000th's of an inch accuracy, improving the playback performance of your stereo system to an incredible degree.

   The unique packaging concept for The Beatles/ The Collection is the most unusual , the most protective and among the most elegant ever conceived.
Each individual LP is enveloped in an anti static, anti abrasive "rice paper" sleeve. The sleeved records are enclosed in a stiff insert board, supplying protection against breakage and warpage. These components are then inserted in a custom designed LP jacket, featuring exact photographic reproductions of the actual studio log sheets used by the producers and engineers of each Beatles recording. The complete LP packages are filed in a high impact styrene divider rack, then stored in a sturdy library presentation case.

   Each Original Master Recording by MFSL is a direct result of uncompromising attention to detail, state-of-the-art music recovery technology and absolute quality control. Because we only work from an artist's original stereo master tape (never a second, third or fourth generation copy), nothing is lost in the translation from The Beatles tapes to your ears.
