Description

This is a rare BBC transcription disc set containing two episodes of The Goon Show.   They are in excellent condition and have only been played once since buying several years ago as they were bought as collectables rather than to be continually played.   I am reluctantly having to downsize my collection and since I don't have a record deck any more, it seemed right to find a new home for the few discs I have kept hold of.   The two shows on the discs are:

The Great Regent's Park Swim - 8th series, show 4 originally broadcast on 21.10.57

The Junk Affair - 8th series, show 2 originally broadcast on 14.10.57

Both shows star Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers, and Harry Secombe and have music from Ray Ellington and his Quartet and Max Geldray.  Both scripts were written by Spike Milligan and Larry Stephens and were produced by Charles Chilton.
