Rare opportunity to bid on episodes 1 to 10 of the vintage radio show, DAD’S ARMY (CN 2072) on BBC transcription discs. These were found in a large collection of BBCTS items, though much of the material was in a sad state. I will only sell vinyl of this type which is in EXCELLENT or better condition and by that I mean the state of the vinyl should be very close to ‘as new’. You may bid with confidence as these records still exhibit a lovely shine and all labels are pristine with no writing, adhesive residue or hole wear. All shows play beautifully, are recorded in mono and are 27 minutes in duration. Records are sleeved in the BBCTS buff stock and while these are in excellent order, they have a hand-written number on them. It is rare to find early sequences of classic radio shows on record like this and I would argue that BBCTS discs are the finest quality recordings available, with a warmth and sharpness that digital examples cannot convey. P&P is set at £5.75 and packaging will be as I would expect to receive – faultless. Cheque only payment please and thank you for taking a gander.
