we have a SHOP in NORTHAMPTON TOWN CENTRE
This is the story of Motown from the very begginings through to 1985
This was used/played once by WMJI, CLEVELANDS MAJIC 105.7, 1985, 25th Anniversary Special, BBC RADIO 12 hrs (6 Vinyl Albums, each state one hour, box however states 11 hours of Music, Interviews & Dancin in the Street) Produced by Stuart Grundy MOTOWN transcription LPs , Stuart Grundy, and Richard Skinner, Its a box set produced in the USA for the BBC London, authorized by Motown Records, there are Queue Sheets, but I played 1st side and it follows the Cues but misses out quite a lot of info. and the sequence of records, it starts with LONELY TEAR DROP re BERRY GORDY, then COME to ME, Marv Johnson, the Get a Job...Shop Around...Please Mr Postman, Money...
lots of Interviews with most of the Motown stars I heard; Berry Gordy, Marvin Gaye, Smokey and so on
there are a very few Commercial breaks but not over so
it goes right through all those Diana Ross, Supremes, Four Tops, Jackson 5, Temptations, Miracles, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Commodores, Marvelettes, Rare Earth, David Ruffin, and many more, weighs in unpacked 1.5kg
CONDITION (not play tested); RECORD = (visual gradings only) played ONCE, COVER = box, lid has 2 split corners and split midpoint, bottom just one midpoint split
