Jazz guitarist Barney Kessel moonlighted on many a PHIL SPECTOR recording session. Spector obviously admired Kessel’s chops, knew they were being wasted on his productions, and put out this tasty live LP on the rare subsidiary Emerald Records label.
As an idea of how this rare disc sounds, here’s a sound sample:
Condition:
JACKET: Incredible silhouette cheesecake cover retains original vibrant color and gloss. Stress line near sleeve lip is well-hidden by buxom babe to the guitarist’s right. Edges lightly stubbed, but intact, as are the spine and both sleeve edges.
Back jacket has D. J. SAMPLES stamped to it. It’s otherwise clean and intact, with light rubwear and glue discoloration. Overall, this sleeve is a strong EX.
VINYL: Clean, glossy, and strong-sounding. A sweet EX+ disc.
