Description

BARDS OF THE BARLEYCORN. WHEN GRANMA USED TO CALL. Private press. Ultra Rare. 1977 UK Beet Music. BMR 101.

Here is musically superb extremely rare original 1977 uk tiny label acid-folk private pressing album, this LP was only pressed in small numbers and is near impossible to find. This extremely rare album contains some really beautiful sounding delicate acid-folk tracks, some of which are really not that dissimilar to 'Clive Palmer's' brilliant outfit 'C.O.B. There are also two spoken word poetry tracks that do not let the overall feel of the album down at all. This excellent very rare private press acid-folk album is a superb little lost gem that not too many would have heard.

With enclosed laminated newspaper cutting from local Norfolk paper The Journal dated May 28th 1976.

The record is in EXCELLENT condition. Cover VG+ (has staple holes where the enclosed newspaper cutting was stapled to front of cover and "stereo" written in biro on reverse top left corner)
