Description

Artist: Black Cat Bones

Title: Barbed Wire Sandwich

Very rare album from 1970, not in bad condition with a lot of light scratching, it does have some background noise during the quieter bits and it does click occasionally, no jumping but on the whole it plays very well with good stereo sound. Other than today this record has not been played for over 30 years.

I purchased this record myself in 1970 after watching Black Cat Bones live in concert

Record/Cover Condition. See below for grading system.

Label & Record Number: SDN 15

Record Condition Visual: VG-

Sound Quality: G+ The Stereo sound is very good, but there are several clicks and background noise during the quieter bits

Cover Condition: VG - Only a few light creases in the laminate.

Sleeve: - Original blue stereo sleeve only light creases

Labels:VG - A small amount of spindle traces evident

Comments: There are no stickers or writing on the label or covers.

I am grading the record accurately using the guide below.

Mint: The record itself in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows very slight signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality and the cover and packaging have only minimum defects.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played a few times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. A slight amount of wear or tear on the cover or extra items is acceptable.

Good: The record still produces a reasonable sound but has obviously been played a lot. Although showing wear and tear, neither the record, cover or contents display any major defects.

Fair: It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated quite a bit. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.

Poor: The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise and other deterioration in sound quality.

Bad: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be torn, stained, defaced or even missing.
